To copy a Blu-ray movie disc to a blank BD-R/RE(DL) with DVD-Cloner Gold, you need to copy the original Blu-ray movie to the hard disk with DVD-Cloner (Blu-ray Pro) first and then burn it to a blank BD-R/RE(DL) with Open SmartBurner.
Copy the original Blu-ray movie to the hard disk with DVD-Cloner (Blu-ray Pro)
Step 1: Input the source Blu-ray disc into the drive and start DVD-Cloner (Blu-ray Pro). Select "Copy a DVD movie disc to a DVD+/-R (DL) or to the hard disk" on the Expert interface.
Step 2: Select a target path from the hard disk to save the Blu-ray movie and click on the "Next" button.
Step 3: Affirm the copy configuration. In this window there will be the task information. Make sure all the information is correct and click on the "Start" button to begin copying.
Step 4: The copy is completed and you can find the Blu-ray movie on your target path.
Burn the Blu-ray movie on the hard disk to a blank BD-R/RE(DL) with Open SmartBurner
Step 1: Run Open SmartBurner.
Step 2: Click to enter the "Create a project to burn data files to a Blu-ray data disc" mode.
Step 3: Click to add the Blu-ray movie folders to burn.
Note: You can also right click on the burn list field to add the Blu-ray movie folders or directly drag the Blu-ray movie folders to the burn list; or copy the Blu-ray movie folders you want to burn, right click on the burn list and then select the "Paste" option.
1. Please make sure that BDMV and CERTIFICATE folders are placed under the target disc's root directory. Otherwise, the burnt Blu-ray movie can not be played.
Step 4: Click to burn. Select the "Burn to a blank Blu-ray disc" option and click on "OK". It will prompt you to insert a BD-R/RE(DL) disc. Please insert it and then click on "OK".
Step 5: Burning. It will begin to burn.
Note: If you insert a BD-RE, it will erase the disc first and then start burning.
Step 6: Completed! Then you can enjoy the burnt Blu-ray movie at ease without using the original Blu-ray movie disc again.
